Influence of Interpersonal Services on Clients’ Satisfaction in Primary Health Center, Ika Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State

Quality care is possible when there is a good interpersonal relationship between the provider and the client. Establishing a quality relationship matters because it fosters trust between the duos. This was a descriptive study conducted between June 3rd and July 3rd 2024. The aim was to determine influence of interpersonal services on clients’ satisfaction in PHC Urua Inyang, Ika LGA. The study targeted all adult clients seeking care at the Urua Inyang PHC, a total of 365 respondents were randomly recruited for the study. A self-administered questionnaire titled: Influence of Interpersonal Services on Clients Satisfaction (IISCS) was the instrument for data collection. The validity and reliability of the instrument were ascertained. Ethical approval was obtained for the study and participation was voluntary. A face-face method of data collection was used to administer 365 copies questionnaire to respondents and same number retrieved at the spot after completion. Regression analysis was used to answer research questions and to test all the null hypotheses at .05 level of significance. Result indicated that, confidentiality significantly influenced clients’ satisfaction at the PHC in Ika LGA, AKS. It was concluded that confidentiality influences satisfaction, the researcher recommends that health workers should do well to protect clients’ information in PHC in Ika LGA
